Rats as inspiration??? Yes. Written in the Animal Stories of Pamela
and Hugh is the story of how the rat diva is keeping Pamela focused
on finishing Book II. A friend of Pamela's - who loves her, but
also thinks she's "overboard" with all this "metaphysical
stuff" - called Pamela on the phone. In the course of the conversation,
her friend complained about the rats in the horses' tack room gnawing
away at all the leather. She wondered aloud what to do about it.
Pamela, of course, shared her story about the Rat Diva and suggested
her friend ask what the rats have been trying to tell her, as there
could be a message in their activity. She suggested that finding
the message would enable her to ask the rat diva to take the rats
away from the tack room. (Especially if she would place even a little
food or start a compost pile somewhere on the property to feed the
rats.) Her friend said maybe Pamela or Hugh could get messages like
that, but she couldn't. They then moved on to other topics. Later
in the conversation, the friend remarked that her husband had been
in an angry mood recently and had been focusing his anger on her.
She remarked, "He's been gnawing and gnawing on me, just like
a rat."
"Oh my goodness," she exclaimed, "I
just got the message didn't I?"
Yup. She did. Whether she's done anything about
it is, as yet, unknown. Her story, however, is inspiring in our
eyes as it illustrates how "the universe" uses everything
at its command to get across the messages we need to hear and do
something about. So here's to the rat diva once again and "thanks
for the inspiring messages that all spirit is connected and supporting
the flow of harmony for all".
