regarding the Peace Day Prayer tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 12th.
We have made it our Newsletter and
added the suggestion that immediately before or after the prayer
we all join in the Lighten-Up The Earth Silent Prayer
Please consider e-mailing this to everyone

not wish to join in the prayer, or do not wish to focus on Iraq,
just beam the Light to Earth.

As many of you already know, I have been invited to perform a concert
for peace in Baghdad on October 12. Millions of people around the
world believe that war is an inappropriate solution to our problems
with Saddam Hussein,
or any other international conflict. This is a chance to do something
about it, to use the power of prayer as a catalyst for positive
change. I hope you will forward this e-mail to your friends around
the world. The goal is for millions of people to focus their prayers
of peace at the same moment. We
need your help to make this happen.
This is the second time the government of Iraq has invited me to
Baghdad when the threat of war seemed imminent. In 1998 millions
of people from at least 80 countries focused their prayers on Iraq,
and three days later a
peaceful solution was achieved. This year the worldwide vigil is
being coordinated with another international event called Earth
Dance, a peace initiative being held in 106 cities around the world.

EarthDance.org.) Over a quarter million people will gather in each
city on October 12, and at 1pm New York time participants will join
together in this
prayer:
We are one global family,
all colors, all races, one world united.
We dance for peace and the healing of our planet earth.
Peace for all nations.
Peace for our communities.
Peace within ourselves.
Let us connect heart to heart.
Through our diversity we recognize our unity.
Through our compassion we recognize peace.
Our love is the power to transform the world.

We are asking you to do the same. After you say this prayer aloud,
either
alone or with a group, FEEL the presence of peace in Iraq and the
whole
world. This feeling is the key to creating peace. Scientists have
proven
that our emotions influence events and even weather patterns, and
we want to
produce a wave of peace that will touch the leaders of our countries,
as
well as every person in the world.
PRAY THE PRAYER, AND THEN GENERATE THE FEELING OF PEACE AT 1 PM

I will be with a group of people in Baghdad and we will consciously
anchor
these prayers into the earth there. You can also join me via the
Internet by

will
broadcast the prayer at the designated time, and World Puja will
transmit my
signal around the world. If possible, try to be with a group of
people in
your own home or church, joining me either online or in spirit.

PSYCHIC TRAINING
In a journal, record
your experiences w/ these lessons - primarily from the Donning
International Encyclopedic Psychic Dictionary/June G. Bletzer,

Lesson 19: Meditate. For your psychic sitting, mentally
ask a question you have formulated. With eyes closed, allow a
picture or pictures to flow. If you do not understand the answer,
mentally ask for clarification in another symbol. If many pictures
flow by quickly, ask that they slow down. If you perceive nothing
take a deep breath and try again. Write down what you perceive
so your Higher Self or the guides brought by your Higher Self
know what needs to be improved in the communication. If you get
an answer the first day, try another question the next day. When
you receive an answer thank your Higher Self and guides.
Our note: If
you find it difficult to get mental pictures working with symbolic
cards - such as a Tarot deck or a dream deck or a deck of symbols
of your own making - will help improve your ability to visualize
pictures and symbols. As the mind - and spirit - communicate in
symbolic images, regaining one’s ability to visualize is important
in understanding the language of mind and spirit. The second advantage
is once you begin to correlate certain symbols with a meaning
the mind and spirit will begin to use these symbols for that meaning.
You are, in other words, training your mind and Higher Self and
guides to "speak" your language.

Light beings - please do pause now

SPIRIT, MIND, & LIGHT
Every once in awhile we run across
material we’ve typed up that has no source named for the material.
What follows on the tarot is one such example. Whether it came
from Master of Spirit, Master of Light one of our Higher Selves,
the Higher Self of another or is a quote from a book, we do not
know. We could find out with a search through our computer archives,
but in the essence of time and because the source of truth does
not truly matter we are presenting it here without credited source:
"The great secret of the Tarot was
in teaching people how to develop a direct connection to the higher
self and God; that no one need come between them and their spiritual
development. Had these teachings been accessible to the public,
all organized religion would have crumbled. To empower someone
to go straight to the source is to enable direct communication
with God. As I spoke of before, in the beginning of our spiritual
journey we do go to authority figures, those external to our being
to get answers. But at another stage of our spiritual evolution,
we must turn and go within to the God within each of us, for our
own answers. This action disempowers churches, organizations,

power and/or control over others. The only TRUE power is to empower
others. False power is the need to control anyone, other than
oneself. We aren’t here to master others, but to find Mastery

IN THE NEWS!
Saturday, Oct. 26th
is MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY in the USA. How about we ALL use that
day to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the WORLD!! There will be literally
thousands of people across the USA focused on positive thoughts.
We can use that. Their positive "vibes" will affect many more
thousands (the power of ten) who will, of course, affect others.
As many among these thousands are connected in thought and heart
with family, friends, and loved ones around the world, the whole
world will be positively "lifted" by these positive "vibes". When
you beam your light to the Earth and then to the World Saturday,
it will be even more powerful thanks to the "positive vibes" everywhere.
Take advantage of that! Since the Lighten-Up group is spread around
the world, it is very difficult to find a time we can all join

This week, "ride the global wave of light" generated on Saturday.
Meditate frequently on Saturday. Note in your psychic journal
the changes you feel, sense, image, or become aware of in the
Earth and the World as you open yourself psychically following
the meditation. Do this daily for the week following Saturday.
Note when you feel a surge, a crest, an ebb of this global wave.
You are fine tuning your abilities to tune into the Earth and
the World. It’s a wonderful time to beam light to your loved ones.
Note in your journal any changes you note in their energy fields
and behavior during this time. Remember a positive change may
be cloaked in what seems to be a "bad thing". As one Lighten-Up
member wrote: "I began sending light to my family daily, especially
to my Dad. When he got arrested for drunken driving I thought,
‘Oh no! This light stuff is not working’. Well, that arrest was
the best thing that ever happened to my family. My dad and we
are all getting counseling and talking together more openly than
we ever had. I take it back. The ‘light stuff’ is the ‘right stuff’.

Q. "Why can’t you or other psychics
help find the sniper?" T.M., Virginia
Answer: For those who
are not in the USA, a sniper (just captured as we write this)
killed 10 people and wounded 3 in Washington D.C. and Virginia.
As these were "random" shootings, it was difficult to catch the
killer whose spree lasted well over a week. That a single sharp-shooter
could do such damage and get away with it for so long is frightening
many. See our "worldly" answer to "Virginia" below and our "spiritual"
answer in the Lighten-Up B e-mail.
SPIRIT, MIND, & LIGHT
First, imagine alerting
the press or the authorities that one can describe the sniper
or even tell them how to find the sniper. Here are the possible
scenarios - IF they even listen to you (which is doubtful):
The sniper is caught
because of your information. Unless (or perhaps even if) you are
a famous (nationally known) psychic, there is going to be a great
deal of suspicion cast in your direction.
The sniper is caught
thanks to your information. The sniper is not a lone gunman but
is backed by an group, even a government, that now casts a great
deal of attention in your direction you can live without (literally).
A person who is not
the sniper is caught because of your information. You protest
that person is not the sniper. But a strong case can be made by
the authorities (either on purpose or because of similarities
between the real sniper and this person) that the person caught
is the sniper. Plus, the shootings now stop because the real sniper
wants everyone to think that person IS the real sniper - perhaps
even plants information to reinforce this mistaken belief. So
an innocent person is now tried and convicted thanks to your information.
This thought alone is enough to give any psychic the shudders.
The authorities become
desperate to satisfy the public outcry to catch the sniper so
they do. They set up a person to be the "fall guy", meaning they
plant evidence and say this person is the sniper. Even if the
killings continue, they can say that person is a "copy cat" sniper.
They have heeded the public outcry, caught the killer, and can
go on looking for the killer (by pretending they are looking for
a second killer) with public support and approval rather than
disapproval and censure. What are you to do now? Your abilities
as a psychic have been publicly disproved. If you are psychic
enough, you know what has happened, but do you really want to
go public with it? Better prepare for a not so friendly visit
from the authorities if you do. If you are not psychic enough
to know this has happened, you will feel great doubt at your abilities.
Doubt is a lead curtain for psychic abilities.
These are the "worldly"
answers to the question "Why can’t you or other psychics help

What can you do to help
yourselves and loved ones in times of turmoil and tragedy? Embrace
the spiritual. Mentally surround yourself with gold light and
teach those you love to do the same, perhaps by saying: "Your
spirit can help protect you from your own negative beliefs if
you ask it to, but you must ask daily. As you shield yourself
with golden light ask that this light draw to you ONLY that which
is to your higher good. Then, whatever happens to you, you will
know there is a spiritual reason for it and good can come of it
if you search for the good. This belief will lessen your fear
to a degree that will empower you greatly."

"B"
The
"worldly" answer to the question: "Why can’t you or other psychics
help find the sniper?" is in Lighten-Up A of Oct. 26th
2002. Here is the "spiritual" answer:
From
the spiritual levels, are we to think all that happens, or even
some that happens, is random? That there is no order? That things
happen "for no reason at all"? If this is your belief, you must
live in terror indeed. An asteroid could hit the sun at any
moment and wipe out all human life. You could be hit by a stray
bullet any moment. A falling rock or chunk of cement or flower
pot falling from a building could kill you any moment. A sniper
or a hoodlum can end your life at any moment. You’d better stay
home and lock the door. Of course the T.V. could explode for
any number of reasons, you could electrocute yourself with any
number of items in your home. Heck, lightning can come in through
your phone so stay off the phone if there is a storm anywhere
along your phone lines and how can you know so you better just
stay off the dang phone. Maybe you are more a gambler. You play
the odds. Random events do happen, is your belief, but there
are SO many people on the planet the odds of something terrible
happening to you are, in your head, low enough that you can
walk out the door. An exciting way to live, perhaps, but highly
stressful. You must always be calculating the odds. After all,
if you are the only one standing on the corner, the odds of
being the "chosen one" for random tragedy have just increased
dramatically.
You
have freedom of thought, no matter where you are, even in the
most repressed of places. You can choose to believe sometimes
things "just happen for no reason of all". After all, most of
the world seemingly embraces this belief. How does it feel to
believe this? Look around you and you’ll see. Note how many
people there are with depression, "generalized" anxiety, ulcers,
headaches, stomach aches, back pains, illness, disease. Do you
feel empowered by the pain you see? Does life seem worth living
when so much is so wrong? Powerlessness, fear, anger, pity are
the natural progressions of the belief in random events.
You
can also choose to believe life makes sense. That what happens
to people is what they have chosen to have happen for very good
reasons of their own. Maybe the reasons don’t make sense to
you - or to them at the level of human awareness - but maybe
the reasons make excellent spiritual sense. Maybe that disease
is not something gone wrong. Maybe it is something gone right.
Maybe it is the opportunity that person was searching for to
find their power. You wouldn’t want to go around preaching this
to people who are not ready to hear it. But you can think it.
If you think it, you naturally approach people and animals with
an underlying empowering belief in his, her, or its power. When
someone meets you ,would you rather that person fears for and
pities you, or would you rather that person thinks of you as
a powerful being who experiences exactly what you’ve chosen
to experience in your quest to grow in understanding and awareness?
Choose
well the thoughts you think for these thoughts will "color"
all the small pictures and the large pictures of your life.
When
spiritual people approach spiritual sources for "psychic" information
about unfolding events what they receive is information regarding
the greater lesson all may embrace. I (Pamela) once approached
Master of Spirit as Hugh was in an unconscious trance state
and asked who had killed a child whose murder case had been
the national headlines for months. The answer given was: "There
are spiritual lessons, that which we call life lessons unfolding
here for all involved in this. Lessons for the child, the child’s
killer, the child’s loved ones, and for those who seek to find
the killer. We will not interfere with these lessons."
Pamela
said, "Perhaps you would tell me. I won’t tell anyone else."
"That
is true," Master of Spirit responded, "you won’t tell anyone
else because we won’t tell you."
Let
that be a lesson for you. It certainly was for me.
