We get emails daily. One person asked:
"How can I tell the difference between God's will for me
and my will?"
Pamela answered: "As I began my journey of prayer and meditation
several years ago, I asked daily to know God's will for me. One
day, while cleaning a toilet (!!!) the following flowed into my
head: "If you had to send your children out into the world
right now without you, what is the one thing you would give them?"
I realized I knew the answer. It would be to instill in them the
desire to do what I knew they were best at, for I knew this would
be how they would best give to the world and thus find the greatest
happiness.
I knew my prayer had just been answered. I knew I was being told
if I, an earthly mother, had this wisdom, would God have any less?
I knew then that God had given me the desire to do what God needed
done by me. My deepest desire was God's will for me! My life changed
from that day. Slowly, but surely and steadily. I no longer clean
houses for a living. I am now a therapist, I write books, I speak
at seminars, I share with others the
wisdom I gather on my teaching and learning journey. I am living
my deepest desire.
